Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning mandatory revocation of a license or permit.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Deletes reference to:
625 ILCS 5/6-205from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-205
Adds reference to:
625 ILCS 5/11-1420from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-1420

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that motor vehicles in a funeral procession have the right-of-way in certain circumstances when they use headlights and hazard lights (instead of just headlights) during the procession. Provides that a funeral director or his or her designee may direct traffic during a funeral procession. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that in the absence of law enforcement traffic control assistance for a funeral procession (rather than whether or not law enforcement traffic control assistance is available), a funeral director or his or her designee may direct traffic during a funeral procession.
