Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Provides that in townships with a population of less than 15,000, a highway commissioner may have a pecuniary interest in lease contracts if the aggregate total of the contracts is less than $2,000 (rather than $1,000) in the same fiscal year with the approval of the town board of trustees or the highway board of auditors. Effective immediately.
