Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the general purposes of the Code.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
720 ILCS 5/1-2
Adds reference to:
720 ILCS 5/24-1from Ch. 38, par. 24-1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Prohibits the sale, manufacture, purchase, possession, or carrying of a device similar to metal knuckles regardless of its composition.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Replaces "similar device" to metal knuckles with "knuckle weapon".
