Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the School Code. Requires the State Board of Education to provide for the recognition of non-public schools by regional superintendents of schools (or by the State Board itself in an educational service region where the office of regional superintendent has been abolished). Requires the State Board to adopt rules with regard to the standards that a non-public school must meet to receive recognition. Effective immediately.
