Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Aeronautics Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.

Deletes everything. Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. In provisions concerning emergency transportation of a person to a mental health facility, provides that in counties under 3,000,000, the Department of Human Services shall make arrangements to appropriately transport the person. Provides that provisions of current law providing for transportation by the county sheriff or by an entity with whom the sheriff has made arrangements for such transportation apply only to counties of 3,000,000 or more. In provisions concerning transportation to a mental health facility pursuant to a court order, provides that in counties under 3,000,000, the court may order the Department of Human Services to transport the person. Makes other changes. Effective January 1, 2005.
