Synopsis As Introduced Amends the State Employees Political Activity Act. Prohibits State employees who engage in political activities from doing so while (i) acting in an official capacity as a State employee, (ii) at a public employment work site, or (iii) using State owned or leased property. Provides that part-time State employees must document that political work was not performed during State employment time. Permits a part-time State employee to suspend State benefits if he or she engages in political activity during non-State time. Prohibits such a part-time State employee from receiving State benefits unless he or she reimburses the State.
