Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Toll Highway Act. Provides that the Authority may not increase toll rates without first obtaining authorization by joint resolution of the General Assembly.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 2
Deletes reference to:
605 ILCS 10/19
Adds reference to:
605 ILCS 10/11from Ch. 121, par. 100-11

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Toll Highway Act. Provides that the Authority may proceed to adopt a proposed increase of the rates for toll if 8 of the directors of the Authority vote in favor of adopting the proposed increase of the rates for toll. Provides that no modification of the rates for toll shall be effective unless notice is given at least 90 (instead of 30) days prior to the effective date of the modification.
