Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Insurance Code in the provisions concerning deputy's and municipal employee's continuance privileges. Deletes language providing that if the respective group policies provide for a reduction in benefits and premium for insureds who become eligible for medicare, such provisions shall apply to persons electing continued coverage under the provisions concerning deputy's and municipal employee's continuance privileges. Provides instead that continuation is not required for an insured who becomes eligible for medicare.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act. Provides that the redevelopment projects in the TIF districts created by ordinances that were adopted on February 28, 2000 by the City of Harvey, on December 16, 1997 by the Village of Germantown, on April 28, 2003 by Gibson City, and on December 18, 1990 by the Village of Washington Park (but only after the Village of Washington Park becomes compliant with certain reporting requirements and after the State Comptroller's certification of such compliance) all must be completed by December 31 of the 35th year (now, the 23rd year) after the year in which the ordinance was adopted.
