Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Prohibits an insurance company or a health care provider from using a patient's social security number as the patient's identification number or in any mailings sent to the patient, except as required by federal regulations.

Replace references to health care providers with health care facilities. Defines "health care facility".
