Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the State Police (currently, the Department of Transportation) shall be the lead and sole agency to administer the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program and receive its related grants. Amends the State Finance Act and the Illinois Hazardous Materials Transportation Act to make conforming changes. Effective July 1, 2015.
