Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides for tax exemptions, on and after July 1, 2005 and through June 30, 2010, under the Acts for medical supplies and prescription medications used for the purposes of spaying or neutering cats and dogs or for the related aftercare. Effective immediately.
