Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Civic Center Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a civic center authority's power to incur obligations.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
70 ILCS 200/2-25
Adds reference to:
70 ILCS 3610/2from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 352
70 ILCS 3610/3from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 353

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Local Mass Transit District Act. Creates the Southeast Commuter Rail Transit District. Provides that the Southeast Commuter Rail Transit District shall include: the Village of Crete, the Village of Steger, the Village of South Chicago Heights, the City of Chicago Heights, the Village of Glenwood, the Village of Thornton, the Village of South Holland, the Village of Dolton, the City of Calumet City, the Village of Lansing, and the Village of Lynwood. Effective immediately.
