Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that attorneys licensed another state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States, or a foreign country may appear before the Commerce Commission as provided in Illinois Supreme Court Rule 707.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the U.S. Constitution Amendment Act. Provides that attorneys licensed in another state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States, the District of Columbia, or a foreign country may appear before a hearing officer, administrative law judge, or other adjudicatory officer or body of a department of State government as provided in Illinois Supreme Court Rule 707. Amends the Illinois Independent Tax Tribunal Act of 2012. Provides that attorneys licensed in another state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States, the District of Columbia, or a foreign country may appear before the Independent Tax Tribunal as provided in Illinois Supreme Court Rule 707.

35 ILCS 1010/1-80

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the language from House Amendment 1 replacing the change to the U.S. Constitution Amendment Act with the same changes to the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.
