Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that conservation practice cost-share grants from the Partners for Conservation Fund may be made to livestock operations.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Further amends the State Finance Act. Provides that the grants from the Partners for Conversation Fund for livestock operations are "for water quality protection and improvement". Provides that there is no rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.
