Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Workers' Compensation Act and the Unemployment Insurance Act. Provides that individuals who own or hold under a bona fide lease a motor vehicle that the individual then leases to a motor carrier and operates under a written agreement with the motor carrier that specifies that the arrangement involves an independent contractor relationship are not covered by the Acts.
