Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act. Extends the repeal date for the Medical Practice Act of 1987 from December 31, 2012 to December 31, 2022. Contains revisory changes. Effective immediately.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act. Extends the repeal date for the Medical Practice Act of 1987 from December 31, 2012 to December 31, 2013. Effective immediately.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Medical District Act. Authorizes the Illinois Medical District Commission to provide for the creation and expansion of other facility development to generate and maintain revenue streams to fund the operations of the Commission and the District. Provides that a judgment against the Commission shall not be issued against any property of the Commission. Removes a provision that requires certain structures and improvements to be erected and constructed in accordance with the Illinois Purchasing Act. Provides that the Commission may mortgage, pledge, or otherwise encumber the property or funds of the Commission in order to finance the acquisition of land or buildings and for the operation of the District. Removes a provision that requires any excess amounts received by the Commission from the sale or lease of property to be deposited into the Medical Center Commission Income Fund. Requires the Commission to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Auditor General in order to conduct an audit of all records and accounts of the Commission. Sets forth requirements concerning payment of costs associated with the audit. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
