Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Human Services Act. Provides that subject to appropriations the Department of Human Services shall designate a member of its staff as Autism Spectrum Disorder Project Coordinator to address issues related to autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Establishes the project coordinator's duties including working in conjunction with members of the Illinois Autism Task Force; coordinating any and all State governmental efforts concerning ASD; and promoting awareness of ASD.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Emergency Budget Act of Fiscal Year 2011. Provides that provisions of the Act authorizing contingency reserves and making all State programs subject to appropriation apply through June 30, 2011 (instead of January 9, 2011). Amends the State Finance Act to provide that certain transfers to the General Revenue Fund or the Common School Fund, as directed by the Governor from special funds of the State are authorized through June 30, 2011 (instead of January 9, 2011). Amends the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act to provide that emergency rulemaking authority associated with Public Act 96-958 applies through June 30, 2011 (instead of January 9, 2011). Effective immediately.
