Creates the Videotaped Confessions Act. Contains only a short title.

Deletes everything. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that the limitation period for prosecuting an offense does not include a period in which a material witness is placed on active military duty or leave. Provides that a material witness includes, but is not limited to, the arresting officer, occurrence witness, or the alleged victim of the offense. Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Provides that, where the defendant is on bail for a felony domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, unlawful restraint, aggravated unlawful restraint, or domestic battery against a family or household member and the violation is an offense of domestic battery against the same victim, the court may revoke bail. Provides that, where the defendant is on bail for a felony domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, unlawful restraint, aggravated unlawful restraint, or domestic battery against a family or household member and the violation is an offense of domestic battery against the same victim and upon the finding by the court by clear and convincing evidence that the defendant has committed a forcible felony or Class 2 or greater offense under the Controlled Substance Act or Cannabis Control Act while admitted on bail, the court shall revoke bail. Effective immediately.
