Amends the Freedom of Information Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

5 ILCS 140/7from Ch. 116, par. 207

Deletes everything. Amends the Freedom of Information Act. Exempts from the Act's inspection and copying requirements certain venture capital and portfolio equity information.

 Fiscal Note (State Retirement Systems)
 House Bill 5252, as amended by House Amendment 1, has no fiscal impact on the General Assembly Retirement system, Judges Retirement system or the State Employees' Retirement system.

 Pension Note (Economic and Fiscal Commission)
 House Bill 5252, as amended by House Amendment 1, would not fiscally impact any public pension fund or retirement system in Illinois.
