Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that persons 17 years of age and older who have a petition of delinquency filed against them may (rather than shall) be confined in an adult detention facility.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Provides that a minor at least 17 years of age who has a delinquency petition filed against him or her may be confined in an adult detention facility if certain factors are considered.
