Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Chicago School District Article of the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning tax anticipation warrants.
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the School Safety Drill Act. With respect to a school evacuation drill, includes suspicious persons as an evacuation incident. Makes changes concerning the situations that a law enforcement drill may involve. Provides that during each academic year, schools must conduct a law enforcement drill to address a school shooting incident (instead of to address incidents, including without limitation reverse evacuations, lock-downs, shootings, bomb threats, or hazardous materials). Provides that all law enforcement drills must be conducted at each school building that houses school children. Makes changes concerning the criteria a law enforcement drill must meet. Effective immediately.
