Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Campus Security Enhancement Act of 2008. Provides that the inter-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional campus violence prevention plan shall also include coordination and communication with surrounding governmental agencies and school districts. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
30 ILCS 805/8.33 new

Provides that the inter-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional campus violence prevention plan includes communication with (instead of coordination of and communication among) governmental agencies and school districts contiguous to the higher education institution's boundaries (instead of surrounding governmental agencies and school districts). Removes the provisions amending the State Mandates Act.
