Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Increases the penalties for identity theft and aggravated identity theft by one class higher than the current law. Effective immediately.

 Correctional Note (Dept of Corrections)
 The total impact of House Bill 2699 would result in an increase of 38 inmates, with additional operating costs of $7,175,200 and construction costs of $2,198,000 over ten years.
