Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State shall not issue, renew, or allow the retention of any driver's license nor issue any permit to any person who fails to file a State tax return, to pay the tax, penalty, or interest shown in a filed State tax return, or to pay any final assessment of a State tax, penalty, or interest as required by any State tax Act administered by the Illinois Department of Revenue, until such time as the requirements of that State tax Act are satisfied. Effective immediately.
