House Committee Amendment No. 1

Provides that notice of agreements for provision of competitive services must be submitted to the Illinois Commerce Commission. Allows the notices to be submitted electronically. Requires the notice to be submitted every 30 days. Provides that the actual agreements must be filed upon request by the Illinois Commerce Commission. Effective immediately.

Fiscal Note (H-AM 1)( Illinois Commerce Commission)
The fiscal impact will allow the Illinois Commerce Commission to save approximately $119,250 annually as the number of contracts and related filing and administrative workload is significantly reduced.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Requires a telecommunications carrier to file with the Illinois Commerce Commission a notice regarding an agreement to provide competitive services within 30 days after executing the agreement, rather than filing a notice every 30 days regarding all agreements in effect.
