Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the transfer of departmental functions related to diabetes from the Department of Human Services.

Deletes reference to:

Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 2310/2310-643

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that, by January 10, 2015 and January 10 of each odd-numbered year thereafter, the Illinois State Diabetes Commission shall submit a report to the General Assembly containing certain information regarding diabetes. Provides that the Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall coordinate with and provide administrative support to the Department of Public Health to facilitate the implementation of the provision concerning the Commission's report.
