Synopsis As Introduced
Provides that the State of Illinois joins the U.S. Climate Alliance and shall commit to the principles of the Paris Climate Agreement. Provides that the Environmental Protection Agency shall monitor the Trump Administration's environmental proposals and identify opportunities to protect Illinoisans from environmental harm. Contains provisions regarding: savings; prior executive orders; severability; and other matters. Effective immediately.
