Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that any person may use a crossbow to take coyotes at any time. Effective January 1, 2016.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that a person may use a crossbow to take coyotes at any time that it is legal to use a bow and arrow to take coyotes. Effective January 1, 2016.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that a person may use a crossbow during any archery deer hunting season in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. Adds an immediate effective date.
