Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning sulfur dioxide emission standards.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
415 ILCS 5/9.2
Adds reference to:
415 ILCS 5/3.160was 415 ILCS 5/3.78 and 3.78a

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that clean construction or demolition debris shall not be considered "waste" if it is used to construct a recreation facility at a site located within an Enterprise Zone, as certified by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, pursuant to a permit issued by a municipality with an equalized assessed valuation of less than $15,000,000. Effective immediately.

 Fiscal Note (Illinois Environmental Protection Agency)
 Senate Bill 1006 will not have any fiscal impact on the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
