SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald R. Warlop of Moline, who passed
4away on April 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop was born on January 16, 1926 in East
6Moline; his parents were Firman and Alida Warlop; he married
7Delores Glowacki on October 28, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop served in the United States Navy
9during World War II; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop retired from Sears Roebuck in Moline
11in 1981 after 35 years of service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop was a member of Sacred Heart Church,
13where he was an Usher, a Funeral Acolyte, and one of the first
14Eucharistic Ministers; he was also a member of the Catholic
15Order of Foresters Sacred Heart Court 1691 and the Friends
16Circle Club and a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 109; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop enjoyed dancing, woodworking,
18gardening, playing rolle bolle, and golf; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop was preceded in death by his

1daughter-in-law, Joan Warlop; his 2 sisters; and his brother;
2and
 
3    WHEREAS, Donald Warlop is survived by his loving wife of 65
4years, Delores; his children, James Warlop, Gary Warlop, Susan
5Warlop, and William (Karen) Warlop; his grandchildren, Paul
6Warlop, Tylor (Shannon) Warlop, Aaron Warlop, and Blake Warlop;
7and his great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Payton Warlop;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald R. Warlop; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Donald Warlop as an expression of
15our sympathy.
