SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ann V. Furto, who passed away on March
424, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ann Furto was born in Mancelona, Michigan to
6Joseph and Mary Hanis on May 2, 1922; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Ann Furto loved to bowl and was an avid gardener;
8she also loved to cook for her family; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ann Furto was preceded in death by her dearly
10loved parents; her siblings, Joe, Marie, Mike, John, Bill,
11Betty Wells, Rose, Jack, Marge Kaufmann, Paul, and Ed; her
12grandson, Jason Pucel; and her sister-in-law, Shirley; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ann Furto is survived by her beloved husband of 63
14years, Frank Furto; her loving daughters, Kathleen "Kathy"
15(Dick) Pucel, Susanne (Tim) Brody, Marilyn (Paul Jr.) Rak, and
16Francine Blackburn; her nine cherished grandchildren, Shane
17(Edna) Pucel, Aaron Pucel, Mira Brody, Ian Brody, Tiffany
18(Drew) Mucci-Heitman, Gwen Rak, Syndey Rak, Dan Blackburn, and
19Rachel (Joey) Carlson; her cherished great-granddaughter,
20Sadie Carlson; her loving sister, Helen (Felix) Pasteris; her
21brother, Steve; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins;

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Ann V. Furto, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
5friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Ann Furto as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
