SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sherman Earl Ziegenbein of Silvis, who
4passed away on December 10, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sherman Ziegenbein was born in Orchard, Nebraska
6to Earl and Myrtle Branen Ziegenbein on April 7, 1923; he
7served in the United States Army during World War II and
8married Marian Haggh in La Grange on January 21, 1946; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sherman Ziegenbein worked in sales for American
10Greetings; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sherman Ziegenbein was a member of Faith Lutheran
12Church; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Sherman Ziegenbein was preceded in death by his
14parents and his daughter, Sharon Gammon; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Sherman Ziegenbein is survived by his loving wife,
16Marian; his sons, Mark (Linda) Ziegenbein and Richard (Sandy)
17Ziegenbein; and his 3 grandchildren, Tyler Speir, Courtney
18Philbrook, and Ryan Ziegenbein; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Sherman Earl Ziegenbein, and extend our sincere condolences to
3his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Sherman Ziegenbein as an expression
7of our deepest sympathy.
