SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edward A. Feldhahn of Rock Island, who
4passed away on December 20, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was born on February 3, 1928 in
6Rock Island; his parents were Arthur and Charlotte Danielson
7Feldhahn; he married Florene B. Spence on November 21, 1948 in
8Rock Island; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn worked in production control at
10the Rock Island Arsenal until his retirement in 1988 after 30
11years of service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn served in the United States Army
13with an artillery division during the Korean Conflict; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was a member of the Church of
15Peace United Church of Christ in Rock Island; he enjoyed
16playing pool and cheering on the Chicago Cubs; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn was preceded in death by his wife
18and his brother, Bill Feldhahn; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Edward Feldhahn is survived by his daughter, Kathy

1Price; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Diana Feldhahn;
2his grandchildren, Hailey and Garrett Feldhahn and Rachael and
3Ryan Price; his sisters, Arliss Stone and Joyce (John) Peters;
4his brother, Al Feldhahn; and his many nieces and nephews;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward A. Feldhahn;
9and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Edward Feldhahn as an expression of
12our sympathy.
