SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald C. DeDecker of East Moline, who
4passed away on September 12, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald DeDecker was born in Atkinson on March 3,
61927 to Charles and Mary (nee Longeville) DeDecker; he served
7in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS Cabot
8and the USS San Francisco; he married Mary Ann Heydeman on
9October 30, 1954 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Moline;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Donald DeDecker served on the board of directors
12and was past President of Willow Springs in East Moline; he was
13a member of the United Auto Workers Local Retirees and Catholic
14Youth Organization, Quad Cities and enjoyed his My Navy
15Division "A" Reunions; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Donald DeDecker enjoyed collecting motion picture
17equipment and radio control model airplanes; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Donald DeDecker is survived by his wife, Mary Ann;
19his children, Lynette (Jerry) Livadas, Randall DeDecker, Craig
20(Patricia) DeDecker, Robert DeDecker, and Michelle (Michael)
21Curruy; his 8 grandchildren; his 4 great-grandchildren; and his

1sister, Elsie Harris; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Donald C. DeDecker, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Donald DeDecker as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
