SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Gerald "Hobo" Hull of Moline, who passed
4away on July 29, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull was born on February 27, 1936 in
6Moline; his parents were Glenn and Nellie Englehaupt Hull; he
7married Linda Anderson; he later married Helen Norin, who
8passed away on March 18, 1990; he married Nancy Schinckel on
9August 31, 2002; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull served his country as a member of the
11United States Army; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull retired as a sheer operator from the
13former International Harvester Works in East Moline in 1982;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull was a member of the East End Boulders
16Club in Moline; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling,
17trips to the Lake of the Ozarks and Canada, and spending time
18with his family; after his retirement, he made golf clubs; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull was preceded in death by his parents;
20his second wife, Helen; a brother, Allyn "Tink" Hull; a

1stepson, Rick Thiem; a niece; and 3 nephews; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Gerald Hull is survived by his wife, Nancy; 2
3daughters, Connie (Bruce) Cornmesser and Geri "G.G." Moseley;
4his stepchildren, Deb (Terry) Schneider, Cindi (Jon) Ellstrom,
5Lisa Isbell (Bruce Shappard), Silvis and Mick Thiem (Lynn
6Steagall); 4 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 8
7great-grandchildren; 17 step great-grandchildren, with one on
8the way; a sister, Linda Ringier; a special nephew, Richard
9(Jill) Hull; and his little buddy, Ringo; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Gerald "Hobo" Hull;
13and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Gerald Hull as an expression of our
16sympathy.
