SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Crosby Bleuer of Milan, who passed
4away on July 4, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Bleuer was born on May 11, 1926 in Rock
6Island; his parents were Harold L. and Jennie M. Crosby Bleuer;
7he married Joy Hawks on April 15, 1951 in Milan; and
 
8    WHEREAS, John Bleuer was employed as an electrician at the
9Rock Island Arsenal for over 30 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Bleuer was a dedicated member of First
11Presbyterian Church in Milan, where he served as an elder and
12sang in the choir; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Bleuer enjoyed bowling and spending time with
14his friends and family; and
 
15    WHEREAS, John Bleuer was preceded in death by his parents;
16a daughter, Amy; a sister, Patricia Carpenter; and a brother,
17James Bleuer; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Bleuer is survived by his wife, Joy; his
19children, David, Douglas, and Keith Bleuer, Jennie and Dave

1Fauser, Vera and Bob Rundlett, and Heather and Jim Harroun; 7
2grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wilma
3Hallenbeck and Jeanne Bleuer; and many nieces and nephews;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
7family and friends, mourn the passing of John Crosby Bleuer;
8and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of John Bleuer as an expression of our
11sympathy.
