Amends the State Designations Act. Designates sweet corn as the official State vegetable of the State of Illinois. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 56 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (5 ILCS 460/56 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 56. State vegetable. Sweet corn is designated as the |
| 8 | | official State vegetable of the State of Illinois.

| 9 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 10 | | becoming law.
