AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 375 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 375 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Cook County Forest Preserve District Act is 
5amended  by changing Section 19 as follows:
 



6    (70 ILCS 810/19)  (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 6422)



7    Sec. 19. 
All ordinances imposing any fine or penalty or 
8making any
appropriation of money, shall within ten days after 
9their passage, be
published at least once in some newspaper 
10published in such district or
having a general circulation 
11therein to be designated by the board or on the Cook County 
12Forest Preserve District's official website and
no such 
13ordinance shall take effect until ten days after it is so

14published. All other ordinances and all orders or resolutions 
15shall take
effect from and after their passage unless otherwise 
16provided therein.
All ordinances, orders and resolutions and

1the date of publication
thereof may be proven by the 
2certificate of the secretary of such
district under the seal of 
3the corporation and when printed in book or
pamphlet form and 
4published by authority of such board, such book or
pamphlet 
5shall be received as evidence of the passage and publication of

6such ordinances, orders and resolutions as of the date 
7mentioned in such
book or pamphlet in all courts and places 
8without further proof.
