HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to recognize the retirement of Master
4Sergeant Scott Isaacs from the Illinois State Police on
5December 31, 2016; and
 
6    WHEREAS, After 27 years of service, Master Sergeant Isaacs
7will call in his final 10-42 on November 30, 2016; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Isaacs began his career on
9December 4, 1989 at the Illinois State Police Academy; and
 
10    WHEREAS, After his graduation from the academy, Master
11Sergeant Isaacs was assigned to District 19 in Carmi, where he
12worked for nearly 21 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Isaacs was promoted to District 19
14Sergeant in 2001 and to Master Sergeant in 2006; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Isaacs was assigned to the
16District 19 Tactical Team; he served as a Field Training
17Officer, Field Training Supervisor, and Crisis Negotiator; he
18also spent a short time in Zone 7 Investigations; and
 
19    WHEREAS, In 2011, Master Sergeant Isaacs transferred to

1District 13 in DuQuion, where he was assigned as a Platoon
2Supervisor, Scale and TWI Supervisor, and Special Enforcement
3Team Supervisor; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Isaacs has for several years
5supervised the Street Machine National Car Show and the DuQuion
6State Fair; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Isaacs resides in Marion, with his
8wife, Angie Isaacs, and his 19-year-old stepdaughter, Lauren
9Pavelonis, who is attending John A. Logan College with plans to
10transfer to obtain her doctoral degree as a nurse anesthetist;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Master Sergeant Scott Isaacs is planning to open
13an overhead door business in Harrisburg, with his 22-year-old
14son, Remington Isaacs, who currently resides in West Frankfort;
15therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18commend Master Sergeant Scott Isaacs for his excellent service
19to the State of Illinois, and we wish him a long and happy
20retirement; and be it further
 
21    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
