SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to Southern Illinois University for the operational expenses of the Grape and Wine Resources Council.  Effective immediately.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The amount of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to Southern Illinois University for the operational expenses of the Grape and Wine Resources Council pursuant to Section 12-4 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
