Appropriates $17,098,500 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for local health protection grants to certified local health departments for various health protection programs. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $17,098,500, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for local health protection grants to certified local health departments for health protection programs, including, but not limited to, infectious diseases, food sanitation, potable water, and private sewage.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
