AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2043

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2043 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

“ARTICLE 1

   Section 5. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, the sum of $373,254,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission from the General Revenue Fund for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program, as provided by law, and for agency administrative and operational costs not to exceed 2 percent of the total appropriation of this section.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
