AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4393

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4393 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    “Section 5. The amount of $36,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from one or more of the following funds to the Board of Higher Education for the purpose of making grants to those public community college districts and public universities that have a minority student enrollment of at least 75% of the total student enrollment:

(1) The Tobacco Settlement Recovery Fund.

(2) The Illinois Clean Water Fund.

(3) The Lobbyist Registration Administration Fund.

(4) The Teacher Certificate Fee Revolving Fund.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
