AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4167

   AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4167, by replacing everything after the enacting clause and inserting the following:

“ARTICLE 1

    Section 5.  The sum of $227,274,400, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission from the General Revenue Fund for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program, as provided by law, and for agency administrative and operational costs not to exceed 2 percent of the total appropriation in this Section.

ARTICLE 998

    Section 998. The appropriation authority granted in this Act shall be valid for costs incurred prior to September 1, 2016.

ARTICLE 999

Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
