AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4143

 

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4143 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 

“ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 5. The following amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Department of Agriculture for costs associated with County Fairs and Horseracing:

 Payable from the Agricultural Premium Fund........ 390,300

 Payable from the Fair and Exposition Fund.......... 75,000

 Payable from the Illinois Racing

  Quarter Horse Breeders Fund........................ 2,500

 Payable from the Illinois Standardbred

  Breeders Fund.................................... 116,400

 Payable from the Illinois Thoroughbred

  Breeders Fund.................................... 173,700

  Total                                            $757,900

 

    Section 10. This Article shall not be effective if HB 4158 of the 99th General Assembly becomes law.

 

ARTICLE 2

 

    Section 5. The amount of $119,900, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for costs associated with the Illinois Welcoming Centers.

 

    Section 10. The amount of $482,800, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for costs associated with Immigrant Integration Services and for other Immigrant Services pursuant to 305 ILCS 5/12-4.34, provided the agency enters directly into agreements with grant recipients rather than granting the funds to one agency serving as a fiscal agent.

 

    Section 15. This Article shall not be effective if HB 4165 of the 99th General Assembly becomes law.

 

ARTICLE 3

 

    Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity:

OFFICE OF ENERGY ASSISTANCE

GRANTS

Payable from Supplemental Low-Income Energy

 Assistance Fund:

For costs pursuant to Section of the Energy

 Assistance Act of 1989, as Amended,

 including refunds and prior year  

 costs............................................. 265,700

Payable from Low Income Home Energy

Assistance Block Grant Fund:

 For costs associated with the Low Income Home

 Energy Assistance Act of 1981, including

 refunds and prior year costs.................... 1,166,500

  Total                                          $1,432,200

 

    Section 10. This Article shall not be effective if HB 4160 of the 99th General Assembly becomes law.

 

ARTICLE 998

   

    Section 999. Repeal. This Act is repealed on August 1, 2015.

 

ARTICLE 999

 

Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2015.”.
