SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John F. "Jack" Dalton, D.D.S.; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Dr. John Dalton served in the United States Air
5Force in Peshawar, Pakistan; he graduated from St. Raphael
6Catholic School in 1951 and the De La Salle Institute in 1955
7and studied for 2 years at St. Mary's University of Minnesota
8before graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago
9College of Dentistry; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dr. John Dalton spent the last 40-plus years at
11his practice in the West Lawn/Marquette Park neighborhood; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Dr. John Dalton was the beloved husband of the
13recently deceased Janice for over 50 years; the loving father
14of Gregory John, D.M.D. (Jill), Lisa Marie (Tom) Kula, Julie
15Ann, and Mark Edward; the cherished grandfather of Benjamin
16Thomas and William Dalton Kula and Evelyn Rene and Jack Robert
17Dalton; the son of the late Jeremiah and Alice (nee Harnik);
18the dear brother of the late Dolores (late Art) Mallo, the late
19Joan (late Hugh) McCartan, the late Jimmy (Maureen) Dalton, and
20Jerry (Bernadette) Dalton; the fond uncle to many nieces and
21nephews; and the devoted friend to a countless number of
22others; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3John F. "Jack" Dalton, D.D.S., and extend our sincere
4condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
5him; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Dr. John Dalton as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
