SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Patricia A. Nelson of Woodstock, who
4passed away on May 7, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson was born in Woodstock on February
67, 1941 to Patrick J. and Catherine A. (nee Nolan) Murray; she
7married Richard J. Nelson on November 21, 1959 at St. Patrick
8Catholic Church, Hartland in Woodstock; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson worked with the McHenry County
10Government Center for over 20 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson had a passion for genealogy and
12was a member of the McHenry County Historical Society for many
13years; she enjoyed spending winters in Sarasota, Florida and
14summers in Milton, Wisconsin; she also loved spending time with
15family and friends, taking trips on a Harley, and playing
16games, especially Bingo; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson was preceded in death by her
18parents, and by a brother, Thomas J. Murray; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson is survived by her husband,
20Richard; her children, Linda (Jim) Jahn, David (Debbie) Nelson,

1and Cindy (Peter) Lieser; grandchildren, Jason and Kristen
2Jahn, Carlee and Emma Lieser, Jens (Elyssa) Nelson, Katey
3(Justin) Kimbro, and Corrie, Glen, and Bruce Reiter;
4great-grandchildren, Layla Nelson, Riley Reiter, and Braxton
5and Kelan Kimbro; a brother, Michael (Ruth) Murray; a nephew,
6Michael T. Murray, Jr.; a niece, Marcia (James) Kalisik; and a
7great-nephew, Jacob Kalisik; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Patricia N. Nelson, and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Patricia Nelson as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
