SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Doris L. Andrews of Wonder Lake, formerly
4of Harvard, who passed away on January 4, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Doris Andrews was born on June 5, 1941 in Norris
6City; her parents were John W. and Marie (nee Smith) Walters;
7she married Charles Maynard on July 7, 1959; they later
8divorced; on October 28, 1972, she married James A. Andrews,
9Sr. in Woodstock; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Doris Andrews worked as a Certified Nursing
11Assistant for Valley Hi Nursing Home and Harvard Retirement
12Home; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Doris Andrews enjoyed spending time with her
14family and friends and playing bingo; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Doris Andrews was preceded in death by her
16husband, James; her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Ron)
17Harrison; her brother, Donald Walters; her sister-in-law, Dee
18Walters; her sister, Lynda; her daughter, Tammy Jo Maynard; and
19her son, Wayne Andrews; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Doris Andrews is survived by her children, John

2(Mark) Thomsen, Mandy (Bill) Mitchell, James (Susan) Andrews,

4Garnet (Steve) Standish; her grandchildren, D.J. Webb, Keely,
5Logan Yancy, Shawn, Tyson, Lance, MacKenzie Andrews, Billy,
6Alex, Lexi, Jessica, Riley Mitchell, Scott (Jori) Sabrina, Tom
7(Brittany) Svitak, Cori (Dan) Hansen, Pam, Patti (Rocky), Mike
8Heeter, Devan Thomsen, Johnny, Kirsten Andrews, and Aaron
9Brohammer; her 11 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bob and Ed
10Walters, Helen Jean, Richard (Carol) Andrews, Helen (Jim)
11Miller, and David Andrews; and her many nieces and nephews;
12therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
15family and friends, mourn the passing of Doris L. Andrews; and
16be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Doris Andrews as an expression of
19our sympathy.
