SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the deaths of Peyton Joseph O'Neil and Zoe Marie
4O'Neil of Arenzville, who passed away on August 17, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Peyton and Zoe O'Neil were born on January 29,
61996 and May 2, 1998 to Joseph Edward and Holly Marie Witbracht
7O'Neil; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Peyton O'Neil was entering his senior year at
9Triopia Junior-Senior High School, where he played golf,
10basketball, and ran track; he worked for the Burrus Seed
11Company and planned on becoming an accountant; he was a referee
12for the Jacksonville Soccer Association and was an avid
13University of North Carolina Tar Heels fan; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Zoe O'Neil was entering her sophomore year at
15Triopia Junior-Senior High School, where she played golf,
16basketball, and softball; she planned on becoming an athletic
17trainer; she was also a referee for the Jacksonville Soccer
18Association and would babysit in her spare time; she was an fan
19of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Peyton and Zoe O'Neil were preceded in death by
21their maternal grandfather, Terry L. Witbracht; and

1    WHEREAS, Peyton and Zoe O'Neil are survived by their
2parents; their paternal grandparents, James and Judith O'Neil;
3their maternal grandmother, Mary Hoffman; their maternal
4grandfather, James A. Brown; their aunts and uncles, Heather
5and John Maubach, Amy Brown, Nikki and Clint Cowley, Casey and
6Sarah Witbracht, Lance Witbracht, Vincent and Jacquie O'Neil,
7and Julie and Tom Jermakowicz; their cousins, Emma, Tess, and
8Ian Maubach, Autumn Jermakowicz, and Cailyn, Terry, Toby,
9Brenyn, and Cade Cowley; and their canine cousin, Murphy;
10therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the deaths of
13Peyton Joseph O'Neil and Zoe Marie O'Neil, and extend our
14sincere condolences their family, friends, and all who knew and
15loved them; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Peyton and Zoe O'Neil as an
18expression of our deepest sympathy.
