SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Ann Byrd of Glen Carbon, who passed
4away on June 29, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Byrd was born on July 24, 1966, in Alton;
6her parents were Kenneth E. and Walburga "Wally" Fisher; she
7married Paul D. Byrd on February 19, 1994; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Byrd was a loving wife and mother and
9will be always remembered for being a very strong and positive
10person; she and her husband started the Madison County
11Challenger Baseball Team for disabled children; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Byrd was a member of First Baptist Church
13of Maryville; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Byrd was preceded in death by her father;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Byrd is survived by her husband, Paul;
17her sons, Caleb Byrd and Ben Byrd; her mother; her sister,
18Michelle (Jim) Graham; her brother, Eric (Shara) Fisher; her
19grandmother, Louise Fisher; her mother-in-law, Betty Byrd; her
20sister-in-law, Lori (Johnny) Waltman; and her many other family

1members, friends, and church family; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4her family and friends, the passing of Mary Ann Byrd; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Mary Ann Byrd as an expression of
8our sympathy.
